This pics were taken this week. Avery is on the left with his soulful eyes and Issac with his charming smile on the left!

For Thanksgiving Will and Sarah had us up to their home. The boys were a little sacked out after their Thanksgiving dinner and walk outside so they sacked out (in their winter walking suits) in Elizabeth's crib for a few minutes. We were so excited to have our first Christmas with the boys! Our two bedroom condo has suddenly become very tight for space with two of everything so we put our little Christmas tree up in the window with all the gifts. The boys are so grateful for everyone's gifts as are we. They were most fasicinated by the lights and crinkling wrapping paper!

The Joe and Amanda Clan of the Meyers Tribe visited us in mid-October for Avery and Issac's blessing. We took them to the National Archives to see the original signed Declaration of Indepence and the Smithsonian museum of Natural History where they were able to see dinosaurs. Lucas educated me T-Rex and Carter educated on me on how to get over the barriers for the exhibits. Jax was a great kid throughout! In the pic on the right we were visiting the park on the north side of Reagan National Airport where the boys were able to see the planes come in right over their heads as they landed.

Here our house is once the framing is complete. The concrete truck in front is pumping concrete into the basement for the new basement floor. We extended the entire back of the house out 8' feet on all three levels. We also tore out the basement slab and dug down 10" so the we could have an 8' ceiling in the basement.

Our new house is coming along (slowly but surely). As of right now it will be complete end of January, early February. The picture on the left is house as it was when we purchased. There is actually a second floor up in the roof. The picture on the right is after we have removed the roof in preparation to rebuild the second floor and new roof.

Boys just chillin' in their vibrating chairs

Here are Avery (on the left) and Isaac hangin' out in the kitchen one afternoon. They both like to sit in their chairs and just watch or talk with you, especially with the vibration turned on in their chairs.

Boy talk in the mornin'

Here is a video of Avery(on the left) and Isaac in their game day gear their Uncle Les bought for them (Go Skins!). They are both quite the talkers. Avery is currently just under 12-1/2 lbs. and Isaac is 13 lbs 7 ounces. When they wake up in the morning and smile at us we are reminded each time how much we love them and how blessed we are to have them as part of our family.

We are just getting bigger and bigger...take a look

We have had numerous request for an update and pics on the boys.

Avery and Isaac are both doing very well. Avery is now 9 lbs 8 oz. and Isaac is 11 lbs 2 oz. Avery is now off of his monitor and doing great with no complications, no signs of any problems or issues. He has fast developed the patience (or lack thereof) of his little brother though when it comes to feeding, if he doesn't have a bottle within in 60 seconds we are made very aware by him of how hungry he is.

Schedules are getting a little better at night however with two different schedules, well you get the picture. Julie is a great and wonderful mother to them and we again are so glad they are both with us.

Feel free to call however ifwe don't pick up please don't despair as we are probably right in the middle of a feeding or something else.

We will call you back!

First day home

Story about grandmas and the exciting trip home

Hi I'm Avery

Story about Avery

Hi I'm Isaac

Story about Isaac

We're here!

Their full names are Jonathan Avery and Isaac Aiden. I did not want to send any out until we had them both home together.

Avery arrived home today at 5PM and we can't begin to explain ur joy at having them both home together. It was the first they have both been together and quite a moment for Julie and I (and JoAnn!)

Again we cannot begin to express how grateful and humbled we are for all of your prayers and help during this time. Isaac continues to do well and the jaundice is gone and Avery has no visible effects from his ordeal.

The doctors have stated over and over again that his condition is not consistent with what he went through and his recovery is a miracle, that is their words.

We love you all and look forward to clogging up the family email with updates and pics of Avery and Isaac!

Wow mom...

Many of you have asked for pictures of Julie while she is pregnant so here is my beautiful wife with our two boys growing inside.

Our last visit to the doctor was this past Friday, 05/23/08, and the boys are now a little over two and half pounds each. Julie is 28 weeks along and they boys due date is August 20th.

The doctors say if they keep growing at the present rate and they go full term the boys will be over 7lbs. each by the time they are born.

Very big for twins!

We just need a little more time...

Now that we have stepped into the 21st century we thought we would send everyone a few pics of the boys. We had our 5th or 6th sonogram this past Friday and while we were in there we had them 4D scan the boys.As we didn't know, and perhaps some of you don't either, 4D is a live feed in 3D versus just a 3D still picture. So enjoy and don't be jealous, cuz theyz our babies boys!
